The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque also known as the Grand Mosque of cotabato,is situated in Cotabato City and is the largest mosque in the Philippines.The mosque is located in Barangay Kalangan II in Cotabato City.It is also the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia after the Istiqlal Mosque of Indonesia
Since it is in the western part of the city,PUVs are not allowed in that area.You need to rent a car or hire a taxi to be able to reach the mosque.There are also single motor(habal-habal)and side cars (payong-payong) that are available on the intersection of Sinsuat Avenue and Bubong road.
Grand Mosque is nice to visit because if you go in this place you will see the beautiful view of Bai Walk,and if you enter inside the grand mosque you will see the Timako Hill even if you are in the outside of grand mosque you can see the view of Timako Hill and also if you were entering the grand mosque you will feel the fresh air in that place.But if you enter inside the grand mosque you must wear discent at the same time hijab in respect in the Mosque.
Grand Mosque is nice to pray especially Friday,Eid’l Fit’r because of its beautiful view and ambiance and specially grand mosque is a clean place.
Last time that we visit grand mosque together with my friends,is that we enjoy it very much because it is nice to take a picture,because every part of it is beautiful wherever you want to take a picture.I’m really sure that it will have a perfect view or background,Especially when you are doing a pictorial.So that I recommend you the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah because truly it is beautiful and you will enjoy the view here.
